Tyrese Gibson agrees with American Express to pay credit card debt in 'installment'

American actor and rapper, Tyrese Gibson continues working on getting his life and career back on track.

The actor and American Express have come up with a plan for the star to pay off his credit card debt, according to The Blast.

Back in May, the credit card company sued Tyrese, claiming he owed them $61,071.35. AMEX filed papers last week saying they agreed to settle the case with a simple deal that calls for Tyrese to make “installment payments.”

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the exact terms of the credit card payment are being kept private.

Sometime last year, Tyrese admit that he was in a financial bind during his custody war with estranged ex-wife Norma Gibson. At the time, he claim Will and Jada Smith gave him $5 million to help out, but that turned out to be untrue.
