‘Farming’ starring Genevieve Nnaji, ‘Snowfall’s Damson Idris hits cinemas next month (Watch trailer)

‘Farming’ a new movie starring Genevieve Nnaji and ‘Snowfall’ star, Damson Idris, will hit UK cinemas in October 2019.

The movie written and directed by Nigerian-born British, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, tells story of a young Nigerian boy, ‘farmed out’ by his parents to a white British family to give him a better life. Instead, he becomes the feared leader of a white skinhead gang.

‘Farming’ portrays stark realities with respect to the struggle for acceptance among people of colour in the Western world and is driven by such themes as identity; love; betrayal; power, amongst others.

The semi-autobiographical movie also features Kate Beckinsale, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, John Dagleish, Jaime Winstone, and Akinnuoye-Agbaje among other stars.

Genevieve Nnaji is one to look out for in ‘Farming’.
